If you are new to this blog, welcome. I'm happy to meet you!
This blog is ab
out and for technical and non-technical professionals, entrepreneurs and the companies they own or work for. This blog is about how you can collaborate to win more business and what happens to your company's sales cycle and revenue stream when you make this pivot in how you see your functional role.
I started this blog in April, 2009. And over 150 posts later (not including guest posts I write for other folks), I figure it's time for me to show you around the blog. Because there's neat stuff you can do.
1) Read the blog posts. Think about them. Make comments. I like to move my readers 1 millimeter outside of their respective comfort levels. Did I make you think about things a bit differently? Feel free to share your insights with me and the rest of the readers.
2) Comment, Tweet, Share, Like and other stuff. that expresses your thoughts. Or you can spread the word via Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Digg .......
3) Tell everyone what books you like and why. Check out the RESOURCE ROOM on this blog site.
4) Let's do business! I work with a lot of companies, getting their technical and non-technical folks working collaboratively, productively and profitably.
5) Check out my website, Sales Aerobics for Engineers. There's a direct link off the top navigation bar. I give you a lot more detail about why I am committed to working along the sales-engineering interface and why I believe that technical professionals may be the stewards of the new business development paradigm.
6) Subscribe to this blog and receive posts by email. I always Tweet my posts to LI and FB. The sign-up box is at the upper right of the blog post. Receive posts delivered to your email box.
7) There are some neat blogs I recommend, too! I don't blog in a vacuum. My colleagues have some great stuff as well. I am honored to recommend their work. I like to think that we collaborate for your benefit. The more you read, the more you think about things. We like to contribute to your personal and professional well being.
8) Search Box and My Categories. Enjoy what you just read? You can back track and catch up on past topics I've blogged about.
9.) Archives. Page through this section to see whether you and I are on the same page or not. Let me know what you think.
10.) My book, Do YOU Mean Business? Technical / Non-Technical Collaboration, Business Development and YOU is available on Amazon.com.
YOUR SUGGESTIONS. If you'd like to see me add sections, blog about a topic, or have general comments, let me know!
